Our initial impressions were mixed, our room was great, really clean, lovely comfortable extra wide double bed, generous sized bathroom, balcony, good furniture with plenty of storage. Erittäin vaikea löytää juuri mitään syöntikelpoista suorastaan käsittämättömän heikko taso tämän hintaluokan hotellissa. Illallisravintolat vastaavat länsimaista keskitasoa hintoineen. Hotelli on melko vanha joten huoneet kaipaisivat päivitystä. Päivittäiset sähkökatkot ja wifi (nopea) yhteyden menetykset kuitenkin häiritsivät melkoisesti myös wc:tä jouduttiin korjaamaan. Alueelta ei pääse pois kuin kävellen...

”Alagoa is a lovely resort. Family friendly and also relaxing for a solo trip. For India this resort has good cleanliness & I would certainly recommend. It’s a 5 minute walk from the beach which is a beautiful spot to relax in. Down side is the taxis are expensive and will do all they can to rip you off. Be prepared for a haggle war! Everything else is wonderful! ”

”The suite was clean, spacious and equipped with the absolute basics in terms of kitchen bits and bobs. Amazingly there was a top loader washing machine! You could always ask for other items, staff and manager were especially helpful. Useful contacts were all displayed at the reception, taxi, breakfast lunch and dinner available to order. The beech is approx 1 mile and walked to it most days. Good selection of restaurants on the beechfront and along the way, plus shops, wine/beer and pharmacies....

”The customer service at this place is outstanding! I loved that they accepted payments by card. I also love that they did cash back. I had a family member who was with us who described this place as superb!! The setup of the rooms is pretty in terms of the bedding that’s used. I absolutely loved that there was hot water majority of the times in the shower and it was hot water like I haven’t experienced very often in guesthouses in India. ”Main problem is poor service. When we arrived, there was sand on our sheets so the sheets hadnt been changed. Called the reception to change the sheets and none came for one hour so I had to walk to reception and after that they changed the sheets. The fame restaurant is horrible, the waiters were watching football together when we went there and they paid little attention to us. Food poor and overpriced. Breakfast mainly indian food, really crowded and noisy environment. Pool is nice. Room...

”Our stay at Marriot at Colva beach was excellent. Property is spotless and rooms are spacious. Most important, the staff at Marriot is exceptionally polite and helpful. Everyone at Marriot went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The food at the hotel is very good. The breakfast and dinner buffet has great spread to satisfy any diner. The staff at live station goes a step further to customize the food to any palate. Looking forward to another stay at this location in the future.”
