”My family and I had a very comfortable 3-night stay at Happy Lands and visited Addo Elephant Park each day. On arrival, we were welcomed by the lovely host family to a very peaceful setting. The cottage patio looks onto beautiful gardens with mature trees. My husband wasn’t able to join us on this holiday, and we’ve already decided that we’d love to visit again to show him the farm. ”

”Fantastic place. Great home-cooked food cooked and served in a home-style atmosphere by the staff on a deck with amazing views. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring Addo. The property also has giraffes and sheep, both of which walked directly past our room!”

”Wow! This hotel looks better in real life than in pictures. We had a gorgeous and spacious rooms with private showers also outside. They have absolutely beautiful garden with a lot of flowers. The service was excellent if you do not take in account the waiting time for breakfast or lunch food. We enjoyed the set dinner in their beautiful restaurant. In some reviews the restaurant had been compared with Michelin star restaurants. I would not raise expectations that high to avoid disappointment,...
