”Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place.
I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip!
You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel....

”Our hosts - Matt and Kristi -were awesome. Very friendly, helpful with advice regarding Bar Harbor and Acadia.
The Inn is beautiful -with an awesome view and easy access to downtown Bar Harbor - and very close to Acadia National Park.
Our room was beautiful and comfortable.
Breakfast was delicious!
I highly recommend the Saltair Inn to all travelers.”

”Cute B&B with friendly staff and an 8 min walk from all of the shops and restaurants downtown. However, it is absolutely time for them to replace all of their flooring. Breakfast was disappointing in taste and portion size so we ate elsewhere for our stay. I would not return”
