”There was dried food matter in the refrigerator and on the stove, just over all very dirty. The staff were very friendly, but the room wasn't clean at all. They did have a help wanted sign on the front sign, so I'm guessing they were short on help. We just went and got some supplies and cleaned it up. The tv barely worked as well, just kept going on and off. Reception problem I'm sure. Fortunately we had lots of plans for outings so we we mostly just there to sleep. But if I had any advice...

”Uninhabitable room due to a strong mildew odor. We attempted to stay for an hour to see if the air conditioning or an open window would help, but the smell was overwhelming. The front desk's lack of concern was the most disappointing part; they simply said 'ok' when we explained why we were leaving. Very poor service and room quality.”

Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples.”

”Clean room, easy check in, lovely hot springs pool. It was a bit of trek going to the second floor with my stuff from the parking lot, be prepared for a lot of stairs!”

”The Columbia Gorge Hotel is very special because of the building itself and the spectacular location overlooking the Columbia Gorge. The grounds are amazing - reflective of the northwest esthetic, gardens, trees, and a creek leading to a spectacular waterfall. The building is beautiful, well preserved, honoring the time period from which it originated, but still maintained in good order. Very clean and comfortable in every way.”
