”Horrible metal box beds that made horrible noises when turning over in bed also getting in and out of bed ,no daily cleaning for our room had to bring dirty towels and pick up new ones at night when getting back to room after a day of going off ,dog barking in rooms next door, traffic very loud outside our room ,was bad enough with no sleep the second night at midnight a tour bus trying to park outside with loud back up alarm ,we finally lost our money for the last night left the day before to...

”Although I do not Golf i decided to stay in Kingwood - mainly due to its location (ideal for my purposes) and other facilities. The area is beautiful, facilities and services are good and the staff was nice. The lack of microwave oven in the room was basically the minus I had. For a hotel gym, the equipments were good. The indoor pool was big and outdoor pool peacefully quiet.”

”The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property.
The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person...

”We had to take my daughter’s service dog so we were placed by the office ground floor and a dog next to us barked continuously. The room was very basic and run down and there were even cobwebs in the bathroom. The desk chair was stained and gross but the worst was when i pulled up the sheets on the corner of the bed for the bed bug test the mattress was brown and fluid stained. Very expensive for what you get and the food and drink availability was poor. At least have a vending machine or...

”This hotel was totally unexpected. The personal touches that they add are enchanting! Each room is unique and the thought behind them is incredible. They offer a coffee bar during the day and a wine bar in the evening. We were even able to have a free movie outside with popcorn! This is an amazing place! The lobby is like a public living room and there are seating areas with firepits in multiple locations. It is totally walkable to downtown Highlands . . which is so charming! Stay here!”
