”Loved how genuinely hospitable and real this lodging felt! Not to mention the warm and welcoming owner, the spectacular view of Whiteface mountain (so close that I felt that I could reach out and touch it), the majestic music on arrival, and the oodles of personality in every inch of it.......the likes of which is so missing in the cookie-cutter lodgings that we are so accustomed to! ”At the very first moment, the owner Al made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was cosy and comfortable with all the necessary thing one would need. Breakfast was ok. Since we had been on the road for almost two weeks prior to our arrival, Al insisted we use his washing machine to wash our clothes! Had a good time spending one evening at the pool and around the campfire getting to know people. Would recommend this place to anyone that's ever going that way! Good...
”My girlfriend and I LOVED this place. It's not the Marriot or some chain, so it's a bit unique and has quirks, and that's why it's awesome. The room was small but comfortable, the bed very comfy. There was no TV in the room, which I really liked. Great shower. Outside there was a little deck with chairs so we could relax, listen to the Ausable River and look at the lovely grounds. There was also a restaurant area (closed while we were there) that we could sit in for meals or just to hang out....

”The staff were excellent. Shawn and grace at the front desk are only names I know. Rooms were perfect very high ceilings in the room we were in. U can walk 3 minutes to a nice clean beach. We also used the tennis courts which were top quality. Great that u can park ur car at hotel for free and in 10 minutes u can walk the town. U could stay there for a few days and not worry about moving ur car as u can basically walk everywhere in town. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10. So clean. ”

The fridge was working properly, it was not freezing the food like the previous hotel I stayed.
Also, I liked the lobby decoration.
