”South Point is a charming old-school hotel resort, and I think it makes for a nice base for a few days of exploring in and around Vegas if you have a car. If you don't have a car, don't stay here -- I'm sure they have a shuttle bus to the Strip, but it will get old quickly. We spent our few days traveling around national parks and not spending that much time at the hotel, but whenever we were there, I had very little to complain about. ”The staff was terrific. Everyone was personable and helpful. That made for a pleasant stay. I hung my towels up so they could be reused, but received new towels each day. Also, my soap was replaced after one day’s use. I would have been ok with using the same towels and soap. Good food also. Gelato was terrific treat each night. ”
