Exactly as described and pictured, nothing more or less, for the price it's 10/10; easy late arrival access with gate key code and cabin door code ; soothing coqui frogs all night after the neighborhood dogs settle in. somewhat thin walls with neighboring cabin, maybe bring earplugs”

”Excellent accommodations. Exceptionally clean. We have stayed in Volcano 2 times before in the Hiiaka House…which is no longer a rental. I found Jungalo Bungalow online and liked what I saw. I strongly recommend a stay here if the Volcano National Park is in your plans. …or one could choose to stay at Volcano House for hundreds of dollars more plus having to buy all your meals! We were very pleased with Jungalo Bungalow!”

”My bestie and I were looking for an impromptu trip to Volcanos National Park and found this hidden gem. Just minutes away from the summit caldera it was the perfect location for our excursions both day and night. The accommodations were cozy and clean, and provided all the conveniences we needed. A surprise bonus was the property itself -two beautiful acres of walking paths and flower gardens. We can't thank Jim enough for his hospitality!”

”We absolutely loved the property - it was a peaceful, tropical retreat. The guest house was super clean and very well provisioned and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. There were pineapples, papayas, plumeria, orchids and so much more. It was so relaxing to sit on the lanai in the evening with a cool drink and listen to the sounds of the tree frogs and the burbling of the koi pond.”

”My husband and I stayed in this condo for 9 days and enjoyed every minute. First of all, Salt Water Vacations staff were wonderful. We had a local liaison introduce herself and was present for any concerns we might have had. They bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable. The condo was very comfortable and inviting. ”We recently stayed in Mauna Loa Shores for 4 nights. The condo was clean and nicely furnished with basic kitchen amenities. Our unit also provided beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and a selection of snorkel equipment. The location is excellent as it is situated right next to Carlsmith Beach Park. It has a beautiful balcony view of the beach park and nature area directly behind the condos. In addition, there is a very good restaurant, The Seaside Restaurant, within a short walk....

”It was an absolute joy staying here. The property was like a zen garden. The neighborhood was very peaceful and it was super easy to find the place. ( I found it in the dead of night during a rain shower) Most everything you need is provided, slow cooker, silverware of all varieties, cups and mugs, small fridge, soap and shampoo, cutting board and butcher knife and other convinces. The bed was super comfortable if you like soft which I do. The outside porch was a great place to eat and do yoga...
