”Quaint little cottage in a reasonable state of repair. Very close to the railway line and noisy at night with a lot of trains. Less trains on Saturday night. The showers were good and the cooking facilities were fine.”

”We had 9 staying at Lavender Cottage and the bedding and beds were wonderful. The layout of the cottage was good, with dining room and lounge large enough for all, with comfortable seating etc. Surrounding was beautiful, and felt very countryside while still only 10-15 mins out of Mittagong. Great 4pm leaving on Sundays. On the downside, property needs considerable maintenance on appliances, heating etc, and outdoor cleaning on BBQ and furniture. ”It was ok for a one-night stay, but nothing special. The remote control for the TV didn't work, and despite going to reception to mention about it, nobody bothered to come an check the issue. The in-room washer and dryer was handy, and the bed was comfortable.”
