”The most amazing boutique luxury destination in the Balule game reserve (part of Greater Kruger). For an all inclusive hotel I didn’t have high hopes for the food however it surpassed all my expectations and was incredible, including catering for vegetarians. The game drives were incredible and a shout out to Anton and Selby who found us every animal. ”We were greeted on arrival by the owner, who was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The room was extremely spacious and well appointed and the breakfast excellent. Dullstroom is evidently the highest town in South Africa at well over 2000 metres above sea level. As such it is somewhat cooler than most of the country and provided a welcome respite. We would have no hesitation in recommending Critchley Hackle and hope to return ourselves next year.”
