”A really lovely quiet stay where birdsong and the occasional chicken or sheep are the only noises you will hear. If you want to get away from it all for a few days yet be well positioned to explore Ludlow and the local area then this is the place for you. A car is a must to get around but there are some nice walks right from the doorstep.The property is well equipped, has everything needed for a perfect stay and is spotlessly clean. There is also a private grass garden with seating. Would not...

”Lovely property. Parking proved difficult to ensure our 4x4 did not block next doors gate. The road was extremely busy whilst we manoeuvred the car as close are we could to the fence. The stone plant pot did not help. Although the garden is lovely the property would appeal more if the lawn was hard core for easier off street parking.”

”Lovely Stay in Drake Cottage. Your accommodation is good value for money and Furnished to a high standard. Myself and Laura was grateful for the homemade valentines cookie. We didn’t need to see Anyone as we knew the check in and other procedures from visiting in October 2020 and July 2021. Hope to be back again soon”

”We had no hot water the whole time we were there. You cant get hold of the owner, they don't seem to care. Also there are no fans provided and the pod retains heat so it unbearable in the hot days. ”

”Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com”

”The barn conversion is set in stunning Shropshire scenery. When we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owner. The property is warm and comfortable with many original features. There was plenty of room for the 11 family members in our group - lots of comfy armchairs, and pretty bedlinen on all the beds. The kitchen was slightly small for so large a group but we managed without a problem. There is a large Sainsbury's store within easy reach and we found plenty to do.”
