”This is an adorable remodeled home, with comfortable furniture and beds, clearly loved based on the special touches the owner has done. The location is great being only 3 miles to Winstar and a couple further to The Border (our favorite casino). It was perfect downstairs for gathering family members around the kitchen, dining table & living room who came from Texas, Kansas and Florida to visit and celebrate 85th and 90th birthdays. ”What's NOT to like about this place?! All essential necessities for the kitchen are provided. There's even microwavable popcorn! The entire house was super clean. It all looks exactly like the pics. The property was well maintained; we even saw some deer and bunnies! We felt safe, as we could see the many cameras installed. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Winstar!”

”The property was clean and not cluttered. It smelled fresh like new paint. The beds were comfortable and i appreciated they had good pillows and cotton sheets. There was plenty of towels and thoughtful touches like makeup wipes, soap, body wash and bottled water. There was also a keurig with coffee pods and individual creamers. ”Towering Oaks is a great venue that can accommodate your stay whether you have 5 people or need to host a large event. You should check it out. It's located in a very serene area just north of the DFW Metroplex. Wonderful location and the lodging was first class. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. Sitting on the patio by the firepit at night was the best. The staff was wonderful and were there onsite. I would definitely recommend this listing. ”

”Don’t let the outside sway your decision to stay here. The inside is very nice and modern. Very cozy and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a weekend trip to lake Murray. Beds are comfortable and ac works great. Backyard was great for our dogs and the inside floors were nice and cool for them. The trains did pass quite a few times but really the only time we noticed them was when we were awake. Would stay here again and recommend it for a nice vacation spot to the lake. ”

The great room was comfortable and the dining table was perfect for playing cards and dominoes. Outside is rustic yet scenic. Owner was responsive to items that needed attention. ”
