”Wonderful family owner renovated 1920’s palace which has secure parking in an excellent location on the edge of the beautiful old city. The owner and staff give their very best to make your stay the best it can be. Highly recommend the first floor front rooms which have a lovely terrace to enjoy a drink on in the morning sunshine. The Garbo also has a spa in the room! Breakfast was always a warm, friendly, fun filled occasion”

”Alberto is a fantastic host who goes out of his way to help. His place is tucked into the top floor and has a side deck that is beautiful. One has to ascend to the bed area by a ships ladder but its very comfy. Also the shower is fabulous. A real treat to stay here. ”

”Staff is good and location is great. The need for improvement should be in amenities and infrastructure, ie breakfast, towels, soap, tissues and ventilation. Overall it is more a boutique hotel and shouldn’t be advertise as a five star establishment.”

”Thank goodness we trusted the reviews that said to “stop searching and book this place.” Our family of 4 had a wonderful 5 night stay. The location is excellent, the apartments are spacious and clean. The breakfast alone makes it an easy “yes.” The staff is what makes the experience. They communicated well prior to our arrival. They were invaluable resources to us for travel plans and questions. We felt right at home. We began as strangers and left as friends. ”

”Amazing hotel. The owner who is also the sculptor and a collector has done everything, including furnishing, etc custom. The experience was beyond any expectation. Francesca, the concierge was amazing. The staff were attentive and very professional. Incredible experience.”

”Nice room, good location. Only negative I can come up with is that the door to your room is next to the breakfast room. If you want to sleep late, you will wake up for the noices when other people go to have breakfast. But there were only 4 rooms so that was not a big issue and I would stay in this B&B again. The lady, who took care of us was super frindly and nice. The house itself is beautiful. The bed was super comfortable!!! ”

”Beautiful place with great pool and wonderful staff, they had a couple of events so restaurant was unavailable - disappointing as it was a long drive for us / and I really don’t like driving at night to eat - even so / front desk arranged a restaurant reservation in the old town but warned parking could be an issue - after 45 minutes trying to park - gave up “ HANGRY “ / a place like this really should offer food . ”

”Wirklich sehr schönes und ordentliches Apartment. Die Küche war genügend ausgestattet und alles war sehr sauber. Wer ein auto mitbringt kann es dort parken, die Parkgebühren lagen bei unserm Mietwagen für eine Nacht bei 15€ dies empfanden wir als etwas teuer aber vll wird das Parken ja günstiger wenn man es von vornherein anfragt, wir waren sehr spontan mit dem Parkplatz. Es gibt auf dem Dach eine sehr schöne Terrasse und im Keller eine minibar mit bezahlbaren Wein und Wasser. ”
