”Great option to pick if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle and touristy areas of central Amsterdam. Rooms are impeccably clean, and the design/ layout is fabulous. The free bike rental option they offer is great to get downtown without the use of taxis and/or walking and will appease any thoughts you might have about the hotel being set so far away. ”The hotel was located in a lovely old house from the 17th century. The wiew from window of our room was wonderful. The room itself was called Shoemaker and was decorated in a very personal way referring to the working of a shoemaker. Very nice and frendly staff, lovely small breakfest room with beautiful wiew.”

"hotel updated, but they did bad way (was here in 2019, it gets worse than it was).
1) you cannot open windows, no fresh air forever, only AC.
2) towels are smaller cheap and not absorbing
3) cleaning overall is bad and cleaning personal is always speaking loud in corridors, you listen them daily
4) new shower design, water is always everywhere in bathroom, no curtains to close when you are in shower.
5) if you use own shampoo or whatever - no place for it in shower part of bathroom
6) it is not enough light/lamps by design, always either dark or grey in room. no bright at all
7) rooms overall looks smaller that they are.
about windows they said it is new politics of Marriott. I was a platinum customer before moved to hotels.com. it is just confirmed I did right move. never back to Marriott then, I need fresh air, not AC."
"Kaikki toimi hyvin ja huone oli siisti ,tilava ja valoisa.Ainoa miinus oli, että huoneessamme oli vain kattoikkunat, niin ulospäin näkyi vain taivasta . Sisäänkirjautuminen piti tehdä itse ja se ei tuntunut kotoisalta. Henkilökunta oli kohteliasta, mutta vastaanotossa oli usein vain yksi henkilö kerrallaan, jonka tehtöviin kuului myös kahvintekoa ym. joten jonkin verran piti odotella vuoroaan."
"A nice, clean and youthful hotel. Breakfast was limited but we found everything we needed and it was tasty.
The toilet in the room had a glass wall and especially if you travel with a friend it’s not nice that all the sounds can be heard in the room. The toilet brush was also missing.
It was quite a long walk from the hotel to the ferry and on returning after a long day it felt like too long to walk. Renting a bike would have helped.
However, we were happy with the overall experience and can recommend the hotel."

I wasnt able to do so because of my duties in the city. So I had to go to my meeting without the possibility to go to my room to change my clothes, etc."
