”We had a lovely stay at The Inn At Ormsby Hill. The owners were warm and hospitable and they ensured the rooms and grounds were well presented. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio, chatting in the living room, and eating a delicious breakfast in the dining room. A visit to the neighboring Hildene Estate rounded our our stay. ”My family all stayed at The Hampton Inn of Manchester for my husband’s nephew’s wedding. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating to what our needs were for the weekend. The breakfast station was fantastic as we could all enjoy breakfast with each other without going anywhere else and making reservations for a big group breakfast. ”My husband and I stayed at the Manchester View for 5 days while we were looking at houses. The hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room and it was wonderful. The room was so comfortable and spacious we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend the Manchester View to anyone and if we ever have an overflow of relatives that come to visit, they will be staying at the Manchester View.”

Communication and follow through were not what I was hoping for. We reported fire ants being at the door on the first night. Received an email saying they would have a service person address it. Next morning the ants made their way into the room. I notified staff the next morning, in person, and was assured it was taken care of. We had ants the entire time, which because more and more of a problem, as one might expect.

”It was good for me and my little dog. We took a single. But it was down stairs and hard to negotiate for a somewhat disabled 78 year old. A screen on only one window. So, for one who likes to sleep with windows open… not great. Also, there was access to a lower lawn, j no it at dark no outer light to turn on for walking doggy. All in all it was ok.
