”Decent location but the lake isn’t directly visible from the property. A bit of an older, rustic feel to the rooms. They have a guitarist/singer that plays outside which is nice but we didn’t sit to listen. Breakfast is hard boiled eggs and bagels for the most part.”

”My wife and I recently stayed at Blue Door Inn in Estes Park, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was excellent—close to Rocky Mountain National Park, downtown Estes Park, restaurants, and shopping, while still being quiet and relaxing. ”Bathroom shower area was not very clean. Top ledge of shower in right corner had someone's old soap wrapper and left corner had a huge dust or hairball. Husband took pics of shower to show what he thought was mold and they said it wasn't. Not a 4 star establishment.”

”We had to move rooms our first night because of a water leak. Then the bathroom in our second room started to leak water but at a very slower pace, thankfully. I don’t know if it’s because it’s not taken care of or because of all the snow they got. But I will say that the front desk staff were absolutely amazing, especially his. He worked diligently to get us into our new room comfortably, and almost begged to help us move our things! And he had the best recommendations for restaurants in town!...

”TV didn't work. The hotel is very worn and dated and in need of extensive renovation. Pleasant staff however!!”

”Had a great one-night stay here. The staff was very accommodating throughout! We checked in super late after informing them beforehand, and they had arranged the keys for us which made the process seamless. We also had to check out very early in the morning, and the drop box system made that extremely convenient as well. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the Rocky Mountains from the balcony was beautiful. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay.”

”Cabin 8-Outdoor furniture and deck was not cleaned off, hot tub was missing all head rests, bathroom door didn't lock and a light bulb was out, dirty towel left behind the bathroom door, shower faucet broken, hair on the sheets in the bedroom bed.”

”13 minute ride up the mountains from town center. If you like the old English, Victorian feel to your hotels, then it’s ok. No phones in room, no TV, no a/c. The kicker was that our shower was not in our bathroom. It was OUTSIDE in the hallway. It’s strangely decorated but the owner did refund one of my two nights.”

”This place needs serious updates, wifi is terrible, tennis courts and area outside of hotel is not taken care of at all. The room wasn’t cleaned very well, good thing we got some cleaning supplies to clean. All the bedding was old and also the carpet, very musky smell. Our room had no fridge, microwave or extra towels. Definitely not worth the price for only 2 nights and you are at least 15mins from Estes Park, very nice drive but it’s very inconvenient if you are staying busy through out the...
