”Hotel is new. Great to be out of the city as we were exploring the surrounding areas.
Check-in staff were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Check out was likewise very easy.
No problem getting a park underneath.
We ate at the restaurant twice and rooftop bar - great views. Food was fantastic.
The Wait Staff were coping with high volumes of people and doing as good a job as possible. Friendly, but couldn't answer questions, didn't know the menu, but what was truly awful was their managers....

”Stayed couple nights before a flight and if you do have a flight from Adelaide in early morning, this is the perfect place as it takes two minutes to walk from the hotel to the terminal. Staff is super friendly and helpful and you also have an option to check in / out yourself with the automated kiosk. For breakfast I suggest to eat at the airport as the selection is not too massive and many things are finished all the time and you need to ask yourself to refill them.”

”What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. ”the Hotel is more like a motel with separate buildings behind the reception. However, design is modern, almost like a small resort, and great access to parking and to the main street of Hahndorf. The rooms are a good size and the bed is super comfy. One thing I am particular about is a good sized towel and their towels were bug and fluffy.. The rooms have a fridge, sink and tea/coffee which you dont really need given the great coffee in the area. Would totally stay here again”

”We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret.
We dined at Martha’s and after a really busy day, loved the easy going nature of this restaurant. We also had the 7 course degustation menu at Hardys Veranda another night. We didn’t enjoy this as much as Martha’s purely as...
