”The staff at check in was great! Very friendly and efficient. The hotel looks nice at the main entrance and my kids loved the pool. Otherwise was rather run down everywhere else... The water temperature for the showers fluctuates, there's no drain plugs if you want to take a bath, the microwave in one of our rooms had no glass tray inside, and the breakfast was mediocre with the juice dispensers not working and butter sliced from sticks and put in to mini muffin cups and other... Odd things like...

”My husband and I stayed here for a mid-week getaway for our anniversary. What a great value! Upstairs king bed was comfortable and kitchen was well appointed for cooking. There's a really nice walking trail around the lake just outside the front door that we took advantage of and were really impressed with the quality of the restaurants in town. Would stay here again our next time in Albert Lea (and would bring the kids!) ”
