This is a spacious unit with an amazing view and great location, but it needs better cleaning and some maintenance.At check-in, there was a strong odor and the unit didn’t appear well cleaned. Floors were dirty and rugs needed vacuuming, there was dirt and trash under the bed, and we even found an old cheesecake box behind the nightstand. Sticky drink residue on nightstand. Crumbs on the counters and stove. There was also hair in the bathroom areas. Vacasa did respond quickly and offered to send cleaners back, but I chose to clean and freshen it myself to avoid coordinating that.Maintenance issues included a running toilet, some non-working outlets, the freezer door popping open when closing the fridge, and a dishwasher that doesn’t latch (with visible counter damage around it). The stove/oven need a deeper clean, shower heads are outdated, and hot water was inconsistent. The front door doesn’t seal well and being next to the elevator makes it noisy at times. The bedrooms only have lamps and blinds (no curtain in master), and the mattress is squeaky and uncomfortable. Positives: furniture is in good shape, TVs are nice, and there were extra linens and essentials in closets. Also, the listing should be updated—parking is 10/night (not 5/day), and checkout instructions are conflicting.Overall, great space, strong HVAC, and a fantastic view. Resort amenities are good, and the Quarterdeck is a highlight. With proper cleaning and repairs, this could be a much better stay.
