This was not true. WE also called the HOA, apparently someone pulled an alarm on one of the floors. This is not something we can control.. We advertise this unit as a studio which is exactly what it is. We never call it a 1 bedroom condo so I am not sure what this guest was looking for. The facility is a different rental company and yes they give out free breakfasts to their renters. The difference is you pay about 30% less to us than if you rent direct. You could buy 20 breakfasts a day with what you save. Also our unit is fully stocked compared to the resort. We offer a slow cooker with the fully stocked kitchen in addition to many other amenities in the unit. You have access to everything on the property you just get to have that at a reduced rate. Also our cleaning company does a much better job cleaning the unit than the onsite company. we have heard that from many guests over the years. We are also much more flexible on our pet policy than the front desk.

We don't make a big deal about the damage deposits. we hold $150 and return it 99% of the time. All of the damages that you mentioned have been addressed except for the stain on the floor. we tried every cleaner on the market and the stain won't come out. we need to replace tiles but that is a job we do in the winter. We did not find this smell as this person described. No one who used the unit after this guest smelled urine so we cannot fix what we cannot see or smell. This unit is having the balcony carpet removed this winter and the balcony will be redone with new concrete and sealer. That should address any future issues with pet urine. Also the sliding glass doors are being replaced.
