The Beach Cottage is a one bedroom with a pull out sofa that is nestled in the private cul-de-sac of the Premier Addition Section of Ocean Lakes Campground. The bedroom has a Queen size bed with ceiling fan and tv in the room. The family room has a recliner, and a queen size sofa that pulls out into a bed. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need.
Relax on the covered front porch. There is also a picnic table and chairs for relaxing in the courtyard area complete with fire-pit.
The Cottage has Custom Golf Cart on property to reserve if needed (MUST BE 21 to operate) This is a "OPTIONAL fee if needed"....

No rules for golf carts adults or children and property cleanliness.
Property needed rugs cleaned. My dog got fleas from walking on rugs. She never goes out in yard, uses a pee pad. No set rules for golf carts anywhere in park. Rental needed a lot of updates inside. Not happy with stay will not go back there.

Mother/daughter Girls Get Away.
Place is very convenient and quiet for the most part. Highly recommend the golf cart rental for convenience of getting around. Check in did not give us the lock box code but owner responded quickly with code. And also responded well to Amy other inquiries. I did fins the photos a bit misleading I though it was 2 beds and a pull out but it's one bed and a pull out but it was ok. No big deal. We had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to go back. We will be back!
We had a great time staying at this property at Ocean Lakes. It's perfect sized for 2 to 3 people. We really enjoyed all of the resort amenities - 5 minute golf cart ride to the beach, pool/waterpark, food options, etc. We will definitely be staying there again in the future.

Place was cute and perfect location. Toilet had to be Manually flushed with hands in the bowl, golf cart did not work, saw 2 roaches during stay. 🙁 owner was very nice and refunded half amount of golf cart but not the best place I have stayed in ocean lakes!

great location, cozy for a couple or very small family, clean and comfortable
The location of this "sea shed" was great just a few blocks from the beach. The property has a golf cart that is essential for fully enjoying Ocean Lakes. One parking spot, small sitting area semi private on the deck and on the patio below. Small grassy area in the back with a grill onsite (did not use during our stay but appears to be working). One bedroom, not a lot of extra space or counter space but great for a beach trip. 3 chairs at kitchen table, 2 stools at counter. We brought a small dog which was great for our family. Ensure that you know how the property owner likes to communicate since VRBO messages were not always seen quickly, which wasn't a problem once we found that out. Great cozy spot for a beach trip with incredible access to the ocean and pools/lazy river/slide/mini golf etc at Ocean Lakes.

Family vacation
This property is great. The house is located just a short golf cart ride away from the beach. However, if you like hearing water, you can see and hear a fountain on the lake it sits near. The golf cart rental is a must at this place. It’s part of the fun and a big part of the community life. Although the main bed looks like a full, it is in fact, a queen. The place was perfect for myself and my two kids. I would suggest saving your money and bringing your own linens if you plan on staying awhile. We only got one set of sheets and three towels. Not really worth the price of paying for them to be supplied. Bring laundry detergent and a laundry bag. They have a nice laundry facility on the property and it was nice to do laundry before we left. You will also need to bring toilet paper and dish soap. The place has a store and Walmart is right across the street if you forget anything.
I would defiantly stay here again.
Watty will handle anything pretty quickly, if you call him, don’t text or email.

Fantastic Trip!!!
My husband and I only had a couple of days to get away. Perfect choice! We can’t say enough about Watty Newsome, the property, or Ocean Lakes. We had the best time ever. The unit is just the right size for two adults or a couple with small kids. It’s impeccably clean, well appointed, and tucked away on a quiet cul de sac. The campground is an absolute must experience. The golf cart and sight seeing made the trip for us. And Watty Newsome...top notch gentleman. Well done all around! We will be back soon.
