Disappointed

Resort needs remodeling sadly major construction & remodeling was taking place during our 11nights. It was difficult, confusing, had to go out of your way to get around the resort. A lot of noice in & outside and only one elevator to use for those in the south tower, and workers were using it too so it took forever to get on an elevator & condo on 14th floor. We brought things to the attention of front desk concerning the pool area steam spraying from something, portion of plexiglass ceiling over the lazy river blew off from wind so all this cold air, rain coming in, worried pieces of ceiling could fall on guests, people were smoking in non smoking areas balconies, outdoor hot tubs, inside building, filthy pool bathroom & workers didn’t seem to care. A lot of potential hazards for their guests lawsuits waiting to happen. When I asked front desk where to put our garbage she said dumpsters past the game room. We had to walk in construction areas with contractors all over. One of the workers took the bag for me and said just call the front desk next time and someone will pick it up. So it all depended who was working the responses you would get. Shop, restaurants in resort were closed most of Our stay. Parking was across the street hard to find a spot at times. Outdoor pool wasn’t heated. Our condo was as pictured, beautiful view & beach, roomy, but very basic starter supplies given, limited cooking supplies, only issue w couldn’t use dishwasher so hand washed. Disappointed!

Nice condo

We enjoyed out stay and loved all of the amenities on the property and the proximity to the beach. It would have been nice to have a DVD player instead of a VCR. Also the vent in the living room had mold around it. There was only 1 working elevator for most of out stay and we had to wait quite a whileto get upstairs to pur room.

Great Location, Poor Customer Service

To preference this review, we are not a family that complains. If any one of these things happened in isolation, or there had been better customer service, this review would have been positive. Everything in the unit was exactly as described and overall the location was great. 1. Upon arrival there were items left in bedside and dresser drawers from previous renters (again, by itself not a big deal). 2. A moldy dish was left in the dishwasher, from a previous renter. (gross, but not something we would have complained about) 3. The dryer was inconsistent. It took 4 cycles and air drying out items. This is where the complaint comes in. We notified Luxury Rental on night 3 of our 4 night stay about the dryer (as this is when we became aware of the issue) as well as the dirty dish and trash in the bedrooms. We received a call later the next day and shared that we did not need maintenance to fix it for us, but wanted them to be made aware that there were these issues. We asked for a call back from someone who could provide us with a solution and that call never came. When we checked out, we sent a message reminding them that we would not be cleaning the trash or running the dishwasher. Our message was met with a rebuttal about our “refusal” for maintenance service, and now that we are home, we have yet to receive a call from them per our request. With all the places you can stay in the area and the price you pay for convenience, I would have opted for a different property
