  • This magnificent 6-bedroom oceanfront home in Nags Head offers a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation in one of the very few homes in OBX close to the ocean providing breathtaking views up and down the oceanfront. The inside elevator drops you off on the top floor to be greeted by an expansive stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean through a 6'x9' window directly in front of you.

    The large gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and ample cabinet space is a chef's dream for preparing meals and easy entertaining. The quartz waterfall island can serve as a buffet area or as a casual breakfast gathering place not far from the coffee bar. Your whole group can gather around the dining area that accommodates 15 to 18 people for fun conversation and laughter. This easily overflows into cozy sitting areas that contain a floor to ceiling stacked stone electric fireplace with a large screen TV, a high-top game table and a wine cooler for refreshments. The master bedroom suite with a king bed has a new bathroom with double sinks and a huge walk in shower area with a rainfall shower head.

    The middle level features 5 tastefully appointed bedrooms. One bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. A jack-and-jill bath with large tub between a king bed and bunk room for the kids. Two additional queen bedrooms and a double-sink bathroom.

    The lower level is a lovely relaxing gathering rec room for adults and children alike. It has a second full size refrigerator and a wet bar with microwave so snacks and cold drinks are always available for breaks in play from either the rec room or the outside pool area. The rec room features a pool table that converts to a ping pong table if competitive juices arise. It has a large puffy pillow sectional sitting area with a large flat screen TV and a game/puzzle table at one end which is balanced at the other end with a cozy comfy reading corner at the other end. There is direct access from this delightful social gathering place to the water activities in the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. This area also includes access to the beach and the newly replaced outdoor showers.

    Nestled along the pristine shores of the Atlantic Ocean, this oceanfront haven is a true sanctuary where you can escape your everyday hustle of life and immerse yourself in the tranquility natural beauty attached to the vastness of the ocean. Beyond its walls, you'll find the heart of the Outer Banks conveniently at your doorstep to explore the sandy dunes of Jockey's Ridge, go deep sea fishing, or indulge in water sports such as surfing, kayaking and paddle boarding. Nearby, there are charming shops, delicious dining options and attractions that cater to all interests.

    Beach Access Information – Village at Nags Head

    All homes in the Village at Nags Head are located between Mileposts 14 and 15, with community beach access and a bathhouse available at approximately Milepost 14.5 (4329 South Va Dare Trail).

    Parking passes are required to use the private beach access, and this home provides two parking permits for your stay. Guests staying in our oceanfront homes will enjoy direct beach access from the property and may not need to use the parking permits.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was beautiful and the location was second to none. Sitting on the deck or at the kitchen island, you see dolphins in the ocean. At one point two jumped out of the ocean as if they were offering a show. I loved all of the doors to the back deck which extended to the beach. The beach access was excellent. We enjoyed the beach at sunrise and sunset and were entertained by the ghost crabs when the beach went dark. Cleanliness? - I would give this house a four out of 10. Upon entering the home, I immediately needed to call the realtor to report some issues. The countertop was sticky, there were flies in the window in the basement. The baseboards had clearly not been cleaned all season. The grill was the most disappointing. Vines were growing into the grill and under the hood flies flew out and we found a filthy rack. I understand that condensation and mold may be an issue with homes on the ocean but these issues must be rectified before renting. In addition, we found two faucets were broken. The maintenance gentleman arrived in a timely manner, repaired the broken fixtures, and took away the grill for a deep cleaning.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Jubilee by the Sea is a beautiful oceanfront house! It's an easy walk to the beach, and the views from the house are amazing! The top floor is exquisite. The common living area is well laid out with comfy furniture, and the kitchen was fun to cook in. The master suite on the top floor was perfect. We enjoyed the pool!While the elevator made the stay much easier for the eldest members of our group, its placement in the basement, right by the back door in a narrow space, was a bit awkward when unpacking and packing. We could never get the downstairs rec room to stay at a consistent temperature and keep the humidity down. The oceanfront master with the bathroom that links it to the kids' room was very musty-smelling, and the bed was uncomfortable. We didn't sleep well, and the WiFi router in the bedroom made me feel uneasy. There isn't a lot of airflow in the second-floor rooms, so be sure that all vents are open and keep the AC running to keep down the musty smell. The cleaners need to do a little scrubbing on the interior doors on the second floor. Humidity is a big issue in the house as many of the doors, interior and exterior, are swelled to the point that they don't close easily or at all. The house could use a little attention to bring it up to its full potential, but we had a great week!

Great Vacation Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed staying at Jubilee by the Sea. It is a beautiful house, and we loved being by the ocean. The house was clean and well maintained, although there was an issue with the hot tub. The water never heated up in the hot tub and just stayed around a lukewarm temperature. A great plus with this residence was having an elevator in the house to get to all floor easily. (One suggestion though, would be to add the keyless entry lock to the car port door into the house. Due to injuries, I cannot climb stairs easily. To enter the house, I had to climb the front steps to get to the front door to use the keyless entry to get into the house.) Otherwise, the house was wonderful.
