Just across the street from the beach and bathed in Southern charm, Southern Comfort offers the ideal Outer Banks vacation for large families and furry friends alike. This spacious 8-bedroom semi-oceanfront home in the Atlantic Watch community in the Villages at Nags Head provides the perfect blend of relaxation and fun. Unwind after a day of beachcombing in your private pool (pool heat can be added for an additional fee), the centerpiece of your own outdoor oasis. Take a soothing soak in the hot tub, challenge your group to a game night in the rec room, or whip up refreshing drinks at the cabana bar for poolside fun.

Inside the home, this expansive space features comfortable seating, perfect for gathering the whole group. A large comfortable sofa invites conversation and relaxation, while a separate sitting area provides a cozy nook for reading or enjoying a quiet cup of coffee. The open floor plan seamlessly integrates the living area with a spacious dining area, offering plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy meals together. The top level also has a well-equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances. Step out onto the top-level deck and breathe in the fresh ocean air and enjoy the sounds of the sea while basking in the warm Outer Banks sunshine. Inside, you'll find eight bedrooms, where everyone will have their own space to relax after a day of Outer Banks adventure. And the best part? Your furry companions can join the fun too, as this home is dog-friendly!

If cooking is not your forte, don't worry - there are plenty of wonderful local restaurants nearby where you can savor the finest dishes. The property is also close to a bike path, so you can explore the local area while getting some exercise. The Outer Banks historic sites are a must-visit, and there are plenty of water sports, golf courses, and fishing opportunities for those who want to venture out. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly adventure or a relaxing getaway, Southern Comfort has everything you need to make your stay unforgettable.

Beach Access: Less than a block away from the house! Head north from the home to the Epstein Street access, which offers visitors use of the bathhouse and large parking lot.

Advance Year Bookings: Accepts Bookings more than 51 Weeks in Advance: This home accepts future year reservations more than 51 weeks in advance. Current year guests are not offered first right of refusal. Contact our office if you are having difficulty booking this home for next year.

No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee.

Heated pools are available Week Prior to Easter through Memorial Day and Labor Day Week through Mid-October.
Pools are set at a comfortable 78-80 degrees during the heated season. Please note that for optimal performance, outside temperatures must remain around 60 degrees or warmer. Various weather conditions such as wind speed and direction can affect the heat performance.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

Huonoa: Siisteys
The house location was great. It was as advertised. However the cleaning was really lacking. Floors were dirty, not just sand but they were dirty, sand in beds, and hair in beds. A few maintenance issues as well. Would I stay here again, yes but I’d would really inspect for cleanliness the first day and have it re cleaned. The only other thing I would suggest is some type of pantry to keep groceries in for the week.
