The Himalayan Cherry-Scenic mountain countryside

The Himalayan Cherry Cottage is placed in a quaint village of uttarakhand with majestic valley view of kasiyalekh. A dream getaway from the hustle bustle of city life, it is tastefully furnished and is a fine combination of traditional architecture & modern designs. The cottage is situated on the fringe of pristine oak forest in a quite yet approachable area. This cottage is made with love of mountains from a family which has moved from Delhi to hills. It's a home away from home.
The space
Himalayan Cherry is a 3BHK cottage. There are 2 levels to the house.Ground floor has a living room and a bedroom and a kitchen. First floor has 2 rooms one for the host and other as guest room in which you will be accomodating. We also have kitchen garden in which we grow vegetables for our daily needs. Cottage has a good enough garden area for a pleasurable stroll. Do meditation, yoga, reading, writing, go for hiking, birding, village walk, trekking or do just nothing. Its ultimately peaceful, secluded, safe and best suited for solo travelers, family and friends.
Guest access
There is a separate entry to the first floor that has 1 room for the guests. In case you are more than 2 persons, please send a message. Extra floor mattress is available. You can also access first floor through living area. You can access and use the living room for reading, dinning and having casual conversation with your host There is a fireplace in living room which we use in winters. Your hosts consists of me, my retired and fun loving father and mother and our dog named kabir. We are a small and fun loving uttarakhandi family who moved to mukteshwar from delhi in 2021.

Our accommodation gives you a cosy and personalized setting, allowing you to feel at home. We have beautiful sitting areas in the lawn, where you would like to sip a cup of tea/coffee or just spend the day reading your favorite book.

Other things to note
- 20mbps Wifi internet will be available.
- Airtel, Jio, Vodafone all works well in the area.
- Home cooked meals from our organic kitchen garden is available on request.
- We have a dog named kabir who is loving and friendly in nature.

Cottage is just 2 mins walk away from the kasiyalekh market which can cater to your daily needs. There are many cafes and restaurants within 5 kms range of cottage.

You may bring your own hard drink and enjoy it in the room. Drinking outside is not permissible.

We want to offer our guests a peaceful stay. So playing music of any type in the outdoor is not permissible. You may play your music inside the room and keep the volume levels low so that it doesn't disturb others.

Illegal activity including, but not limited to, drugs, prostitution, carrying firearms, weapons etc. is strictly prohibited. Host reserves the right to immediately cancel the booking and report the matter.
