”The front desk guy at check-in was wonderful. The staff helped pack our breakfast on the days we went on safari. On the days we had breakfast at the buffet, it was excellent. The location is great. The staff always responded to everything. Dinner at the hotel was fine, and the rooftop is very nice with a happy hour every day.”

”Staff was great and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. There are some restaurants close by that are walkable, but should be cautious. The breakfast buffet is ok and a bit pricey. ”

”This was the first time for me staying at the Sankara in Nairobi, and I found the hotel to be excellent both in terms of comfort and cleanliness. My room was modern and well appointed and very comfortable. The food in the restaurants was good ands the steakhouse Graze was 4 out of 5 stars.
The staff - 10 stars out of 5. Very (super) friendly and helpful and came through on every request.
The only minor squawk I would give the hotel is that the bar on the first floor could do with an update...

”This was the second time at Clarence House. Overall I will say it's a great place to stay. The staff are always great and willing to go an extra mile to provide any help requested. The restaurant also serves great food. The rooms are clean and spacious. Will definitely return again. ”

”Absolutely top-notch service! I highly recommend this place. Every single staff member here went above and beyond to help us with an unfortunate situation (which they didn't need to do, as they were not at fault) Bonus location that they are attached to a mall which makes getting quick items super convenient. Felt safe 100% of the time. As far as the actual stay, the apartment is exactly as pictured. It's spacious and beautiful. ”

”A great find that replicated the feeling of home while away. Large comfortable bedrooms with multiple full bathrooms and a fully furnished kitchen. Access to a good gym, so good a colleague at another hotel sought to use it for its squat rack.
Great location with access to Westgate Shopping, several business partners, local food and shopping of the upmarket and down market varieties.
The staff was consistently on-point with quick service and pre=preemptive supports. ”

”Be warned, the booking agencies pictures are really out dated. The previous nice staff has vanished.
On our check-in (December, 2019) we got to know that our prepaid booking didn't even exist and they didn't have any free family rooms (2 rooms with connecting door) left. No refund was made even when we insisted (we would have moved to another hotel). They only offered a complimentary lunch after the big battle that took hours. Rooms were in quite good condition to their age but the cleanliness...

”It's a very nice hotel. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were very clean, and the food was delicious. They made chapatis for me even though it wasn't on the menu. But the breakfast was more Indian, no mandazis, mahamri, or a typical Kenyan breakfast.”
