I arrived at the property at check-in time for a confirmed, fully paid, non-refundable booking and was informed that the unit was no longer available due to the host accommodating another guest. This was communicated on the day of check-in, leaving me without lodging.
The issue was not the property itself, but the host’s failure to provide the confirmed accommodation. Expedia/Vrbo intervened due to host non-performance.
