”Staff was super! Location could not be better. Guest rooms were clean, but very small! The common areas were very tired and unclean. The continental breakfast was insufficient...No fruit, lackluster, running out of items before the end of serving hours. If you can't make breakfast better, don't offer it. The whole place is a grand old lady who needs someone to really care about her!”

”The Chapman House was a fantastic stay. Clean and comfortable. However, the stay was very loud. Our room was right near the main door — additionally, there is a lot of construction going on right next door as they’re rebuilding an Inn that burnt down. ”

”My second time in Martin House Inn. It is situated in the hearth of town and is close to the ferry, buses, shops and restaurants. Still the location is quiet and not crowded. Had a room with a shared bathroom which worked out fine. Common areas were charming. Enjoyed breakfast, afternoon treats, Friday cheese and wine and evening sherry or bourbon nitecap. Beds were comfortable and everything clean. Will return for shure!”

”We loved this house. Sure, it is rustic (as the title says), but we loved the vibe. The architecture, exposed wood, and white floors felt like a 60s surf bungalow. The house is interesting and there are some quirks, but nothing that had any impact on our stay. It was clean and well appointed where it mattered- the linens were clean and fresh, the kitchen and bathroom were clean, the mattresses on the twin beds seemed new. It was walking distance to the little town, beach, playground, Sconset...
