”Excellent Reception customer service on arrival. Our room was quite large, clean, tidy and well appointed. Our bathroom was spacious with a spa bath. Have already booked to stay on our return from Bay of Islands.”

”It was an amazing stay with great balcony view heaps of parking spots and clean rooms”

”We stayed in the Esplanade hotel for three nights. The location was perfect to us: 12 minutes from the Auckland CBD by a ferry, still away from the noisy centre. The neighborhood of the Esplanade is really very cozy. There are nice beaches around and Mount Victoria is a place worth visiting. The hotel itself offers very good service and the restaurant is very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was positive and professional, we enjoyed our stay in the Esplanade very much.”

”Iso ja siisti huone. Hotellilla hyvä sijainti. Harmi kun ei ollut aamupalaa, mutta ihan naapurissa oli loistava aamupalapaikka joten ei tämäkään asia ollut katastrofi. Suosittelen! ”

”Really good breakfast”

”Erittäin siisti”

”The location was great close by sky city. The room was clean but pretty basic. The restaurant had nice menu but the breakfast was mediocre. The road noise was quite loud coming from the street in front of the hotel. Also they held the credit card authorization for a month. And it was supposed to be released in few days.”

Even the coffee machine and other complimentary facilities were dirty and unhygienic, so we didn’t feel comfortable using the complimentary coffee or other amenities. We had to clean the room ourselves before we could use it. However, when we raised these concerns with the manager, he was very attentive and took steps to address the issues. He also made...

”Great service! Good rooms and comfy bed. ”

”Loistava sijainti, erinomainen hotelli keskellä Aucklandia. Allas puuttui.”

”Good room, friendly staff”

”Very pleasant and helpful staff. Cool room with great fun details. Great location. Glad to have found this hotel and would love to stay there again!”

”We were very happy with our stay. The Classic-room was spacious and stylish, the staff was very helpful and the breakfast was really good.”

”This was a fairly corporate feeling suite. While there was a kitchen, with basic dishes, cutlery, cooking implements, there was nothing by way of basic pantry items. I was staying a few days and hoped to cook some of my meals, but not long enough to want to buy salt, pepper, oil - basics for cooking. So aside from warming up some leftovers, the kitchen was pretty useless to me. But the room was nice, the pool and gym were great, the location was good, and the staff were very nice and friendly...
