”We stayed in the Esplanade hotel for three nights. The location was perfect to us: 12 minutes from the Auckland CBD by a ferry, still away from the noisy centre. The neighborhood of the Esplanade is really very cozy. There are nice beaches around and Mount Victoria is a place worth visiting. The hotel itself offers very good service and the restaurant is very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was positive and professional, we enjoyed our stay in the Esplanade very much.”
”It was really great. The managers helped us with a child friendly mat and also were very understanding to remove our 3 year old's graffiti off the wall. Fantastic location 2 minutes from the beach and park and the great Mission restaurant in the park!”

”Imagine Beach Road was a great place to stay, easy walking to shopping, art Gallery, ferries and Vector arena. The staff were friendly and it was very clean and tidy. I would definitely stay again.”

”The hotel itself has a really cool vibe throughout. Everything is well-maintained and also retro chic. The restaurant is fantastic. We went to high tea and cannot say enough about how wonderful the offerings were. The staff is extremely friendly and the rooms were super comfortable and clean. Also, have to say the tub was fantastic and very deep so made for a wonderful evening hot soak with bath salts readily available!! The only thing I will say is a possible negative is that the parking garage...
”Britomart Hotel was the perfect venue for my birthday getaway. It was central with plenty of amazing dining options nearby and great service from the friendly staff. The facilities were immaculate and there were so many other patrons attending the concert I was also there to see.”

”I noticed from the other reviews that our experiences were unfortunately quite similar:
1) When we first arrived to our room, there was a wet and dirty towel dumped in the corner of the bathroom. We just removed it, felt like it is waste of time to complain about it. However, it left us thinking that is the room properly cleaned?
2) We needed to chase the cleaners who just didn't do their job. When we went out there was a cleaner guy who asked if we wanted to get our room cleaned, we said yes...
