The Commodore in Nashville is located at The Flats on Acklen, which are nestled in one of Nashville's most charming and sought-after areas. Sylvan Park offers a blend of residential tranquility and vibrant city life. Located just one mile from Vanderbilt University and two miles from the lively energy of Broadway, Bridgestone Arena, The Ryman, and Nissan Stadium, you're never far from the heart of the action.

Sylvan Park itself is a thriving local community known for its inviting atmosphere, with a variety of locally-owned restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and laid-back bars. Welcome to Commodore’s Quarters—your ultimate Vandy getaway, bursting with school spirit and Commodore pride! This stylish one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment is decked out with custom Vanderbilt-inspired wallpaper in the kitchen and Vandy artwork throughout, setting the perfect tone for your stay.The bedroom features two queen beds, room-darkening curtains, and a ceiling fan to ensure a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom includes a combo tub/shower for a relaxing soak or quick refresh. Whip up some game-day snacks in the full kitchen, then enjoy them in the handsome dining area. After a day of exploring campus or Downtown Nashville, working hard, or cheering on the Commodores, kick back in the bright and spacious living room. The sofa even transforms into a bed, so you can host two more of your Vandy crew! Step outside to the community outdoor space, where you can unwind in Adirondack chairs under cafe lighting amid tasteful landscaping. Easily ride your bike to Vanderbilt or take a walk/jog to Centennial Park using the Richland Greenway conveniently located at the end of the street.

Please note, a train runs behind the apartment complex and you may hear it during your stay. It’s a short freight train that goes from Memphis to Nashville, but it operates irregularly. Sometimes it doesn’t run at all, and other times it runs a few times a day. The train doesn’t blow its horn near our building, so it’s just background noise as it passes by. The train is not visible due to the vegetation between the tracks and the building. Sound and light-reducing curtains as well as a sound machine are provided to minimize any disturbance.
