”Stayed her for a wedding and didn’t get a chance to enjoy the full property if I’m being truthful. My room was not in the main house - which was fine. But make sure if you’re booking and want the “big house experience” that you confirm room location. Overall an enjoyable stay!”

”We were disappointed with the condition of our room. The furnishings were very nice (and realizing it's an historic building) it just looked very tired, the walls, bathroom, etc. At least our room did. In addition there was an adjoining door to the room next door that didn't block the sound at all from that room. You could hear just about everything coming from there.
After coming back from diner we found ourselves locked out of the building as the coded keypad to the front door wasn't...

”Opponent arrival, I used the lobby restroom, which had flies and bugs in it. The furniture in the lobby was filthy and worn out. I arrived an hour early and they said they still had not cleaned the room yet so I said I would gladly wait. Upon a visual inspection of the room after they cleaned it, it had been hastily done. Sheets were not changed and everything reeked of some industrial cleaning fluid. Expedia did give me a $25 return of my money that I used on an alternate hotel that evening....
