”The hotel was clean and new. However, service was not good. I needed to call the reception and had to speak to a bot who could not understand my request and could not speak with a real person. We ordered room service which was totally overpriced. A small burger came in a plastic container with wobbly plastic cutlery.”

”The location of the River Inn is excellent. It is in a nice neighborhood, with like a 20-30 mins walk to the DC Mall. There are multiple restaurants and super markets relatively close. The hotel itself also contains an Italian restaurant that was fine, the breakfast is also there. The staff of the hotel is helpful and the rooms are clean and big. The room contains a lot of extra facilities such as cooking facilities. We had a great stay. ”

"Positive things first: location is great (near metro and whole foods, walking distance to Georgetown, DuPont circle etc.), the room was big and had a real kitchen. Some of the staff members were super nice and helpful and some were not. But the room was not only really outdated but partially almost falling apart. And the cleaning was also so and so or then the room was just so worn-out that it just looked dirty no matter how much cleaning was done. Not going back before major renovations. "
"Excellent location near White House and other attractions. Subway nearby. I liked the design and cleanliness of rooms.
On the downside our room had a window facing another building's wall 1/2 m away and seals not well soundproofed."
