”This was a lovely modern hotel right on Swansea beach. The staff were lovely and really helpful when we arrived and very friendly. Any issues were sorted quickly. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space in the room. Would have preferred a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath, but despite that, it worked well. Very clean. Also loved being near the beach so that we could easily have a nice walk on the Sundays before going home.”

”The hotel was right next to the train station, so very convenient as a base for travelling in the area as we did. The city is so small that the walk to the bus station (where buses to e.g. the gower peninsula leave), the quadrant shopping centre or the restaurant cluster is no problem. There are a few small convenience stores close to the hotel, which were open til late, and the 24h tesco (not sundays) was also within walking distance. Overall a nice and clean base.”

”Although very slightly a little old fashioned it was excellent. The main asset of this hotel is the staff as every single person we met with was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Probably suits the more mature clientele, which is us, and the entertainment in the evening most likely would get through the auditions on Britain’s Got Talent but this is more than made up for by the staff and delicious food especially breakfasts. ”

”Ample for what we paid. All working & fit for purpose, though I have trouble with stairs & being on the 2nd floor was a bit of a job as the lift wasn't in action. The sprinkler was hanging off the ceiling, but didn't effect our stay. Quite a noisy room, being directly above the moving bollard but luckily I brought my earplugs so didn't bother me too much.”

”Really enjoyed my stay at the Tower hotel and spa, the staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is delicious I had the roast lamb dinner both nights of my stay because it was so delicious, I didn’t sleep very well on my first night in the tower and mentioned this to a lovely lady who worked in the restaurant and in no time at all they moved me to another room, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning. ”

”We stayed in a dog friendly room and our dog was also allowed to eat with us in part of the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is well placed for the gorgeous Gower. Three Cliffs Bay, Oxwich Bay and the beautiful Rhossili and Worms Head were a short drive away. ”

”We liked the whole atmosphere surrounding the house and gardens etc. the staff were super and very helpful. The breakfasts were great especially the Welsh breakfast! We will be coming again. The only downside was that we paid £310 to Expedia as opposed to £254 if we had booked directly with you!! A lesson to be learnt. ”

”Excellent stay with a twin room overlooking the golf course. Great location for Mumbles. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It would be good if the room had full blackout blinds or curtains as the room got the sun very early in the morning and lit the room up even with the blinds closed. Would have liked a slightly bigger towel but that’s being very picky. The best thing about the stay was the breakfast - it was really nice with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again. ”

”Staff were extremely helpful. We were transferred over to their sister hotel, the Georgian, as I booked the wrong room and there were no other rooms left due to a wedding being held there. It was very clean & well maintained & our room was very comfortable. The only negative was no mini bar fridge in the room for our water. Special mention & thanks to Amy who arranged dinner for us at Gallini's Italian Restaurant as we arrived too late for a dinner booking at the hotel. ”

”We enjoyed our stay, the room was lovely and bright and spotlessly clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable though. The meal we had was lovely, it was a tapas menu. On the second night, we went out to eat and there was no room in the bar for us when we returned. The bar is quite small and catered to people wanting meals. We went into the marquee, but, as it was pouring down, it was quite cold so we went to our room. The ice cream parlour...
