”Very Scottish decor’ for some reason. Staff were over worked and doing multiple jobs as best as they could and as quickly as they good. Tending bar, taking orders, waiting on tables - just one person! They really struggled at breakfast with a coach party all coming down to eat at the same time and only two waitresses and one chef to handle everything. ”I was staying for one night and generally I can’t fault the hotel for its friendly staff, good food and the comfy bed. However I was in a single room, my choice, but the bathroom was far too small. Great service from staff they were able to give us a double room after we booked twin room available via hotels.com which was great. ”Nice location (quite remote and quiet) and friendly staff. Some gaps in the breakfast service, e.g. lacking glasses, plates etc. And the breakfast ended already at 9 which was very early for me. ”Heather the manager was very friendly and welcoming. We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal.
