We were in room 8 which has an amazing balcony. The room was cleaned every day (the hotel info said every other day). Breakfast was served outside and it was lovely to see the Yalis family sat together too. There is a Bar, a pool and plenty of loungers and a hammock. ”Excellent service. Our flight was late but they waited us with great patience at the airport! Beautiful views from bed to sea and town. And the sunterrace showed us more to see. Breakfast was sufficient. And shower gave us warm water in the morning. We can recommend this family place to everyone. People were very nice and polite!”

Unfortunately the elevator was broken so we needed to bring up our luggage to our room - two flights up and down ( when we left). The beach across the street was nice with a lovely taverna and a cheap boat ride to the port. Ask for a view of the sea if you go. ”
”Great one night stay at Hotel Mato. Traditional old Greek house where the lady owner was so helpful and friendly. We had a room at the top of the house (up a spiral staircase) which had a spacious balcony with amazing views of the port. Lovely traditional Greek breakfast. The location is fantastic for Skiathos old town and the ferry port. Would recommend (as long as you like cats - she has tons them! ) ”
