”A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. The bar and restaurant were really well set out and the decor created a nice homely feel, very relaxing. The food was perfect, good portion sized, nicely presented and really good quality. ”The staff were all lovely, very friendly. Simon, Freya and all the people we met were great. The room was very comfortable a great shower and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was superb and cooked to orderr”

”Cheap and well located for the area. Interesting historic building on the outside. Friendly staff. Tired and dated decor with a horrible smell in the stairway. Constant loud humming from bathroom. Harsh lighting in bedroom and bathroom with no bedside lamp and only 1 bedside table. Room very clean, though carpets looked stained around the edges.”

”this was a sports pub with rooms not a hotel. No breakfast available( which wasn’t made clear on booking) and no heating in bedroom in the morning. Room was fine if uninspiring and good refreshment tray for hot drinks.”
