âWe left and decided to drive back to Edinburgh. The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful, such a warm inviting man. The Inn is outdated and the twin bed size and mattress was disappointing. The lighting is blue, which made the room feel cold. The breakfast is at the motor stop. Probably a good place for those who don't have a choice. But we were able to make it back to our original hotel in a timely manner, so we did.â

âOne of the highlights of our Northumberland road trip, Langley Castle felt like such a treat, packed with character, history and atmosphere. âA lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world. We stayed in one of the accessible rooms, so canât comment on the other accommodation, but our room was clean, if a little dated.
The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming â along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. We also enjoyed chatting with some fellow guests who were repeat visitors, which says a lot about the place.
