”It was very shady.. open bags of chips left in bed side table.. mattress was very hard wasnt comfortable at all .. most likely will not stay here again”

”The room was as good as the ones in luxury hotels, but I walk with a rollator and it would not fit in the bathroom. The buildings are from 1950 and 1970 and are odd and dated seeming, but interesting in a way. The place is not ADA compliant by any means, and we are handicap, but we managed. The view from the room was wonderful, although with a huge casino in the center of it.”

”The indoor pool was nice. The room was a good size everything was clean and comfortable. Did not like that certain things like the fire pit was only available Friday and Saturday. I didn’t check in until Sunday. I also didn’t like the fact other guests invited them selves to our balcony.”

”Came for two nights, had a wonderful stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and delicious. The hotel has a charming vintage feel to it, with excellent service.”

”Pretty good motel. Were the walls thin so you could hear other rooms - yes. Was the a/c working and fan loud enough to cover that noise - yes. Linens were clean and bed comfortable enough - also yes. Rest of the room wasnt super clean, but it wasnt falling apart or anything super gross. Felt safe in the location as well. Overrall great value for the price.”

”Check in was a breeze, the staff member who helped us was very friendly! The room was awful, so bad that we chose to leave a night early. Upon check out they didn't even ask why we were leaving a day early. The bathroom had black mold on the ceiling and tons of water damage, the curtains had holes in it, there was a sizable brown stain on the wall, and more. I didn't ask to switch rooms bc if they are ok with putting people in a room with visible issues, I can't imagine what cannot be seen....

”I have been staying at the Globe, on and off, for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. It is much more interesting than your typical "Hotel McMuffin" (Don't expect new and modern just interesting and comfortable.) The current, new management team has worked hard to keep it special. (The free, made to order breakfast, is just icing on the cake.) The only caution I would raise is the lack of an elevator. I'm fine with two flights of narrow steps but if you're not, I would suggest...

”There is a very thin white shade and no curtains. The lights from the parking lot came into our room all night and once the sun came up it was very bright. We stayed there for a tournament and did not get much sleep due to the light.”
