Lomamökit – New Bern

”Super cute cottage. The surrounding areas were nice. Met with the owners of the property which had large fire pit, if you like farm animals like ducks chickens and goats you’d love this home. We did run into an issue with the water heater not operating correctly the owner attempted to fix it but was unable. We were offered to use a shower room attached to the home. We had a 2 night booking and would stay again as the only inconvenience was no hot water for both days.”

”What a gem!!!! The PERFECT place to stay not minutes from New Bern but out in the country. Everything is perfect for an outdoorsy feeling with every comfort you could want. Details have been considered in this well appointed little home. The owners were so nice and we loved seeing the farm animals. Will certainly come again and bring friends to rent the other cabin!”

”This rental was well furnished and comfortable. The home was very clean, appliances, linens and bedding were of good quality and little extras such as coffee, water in the fridge were much appreciated. Also, location was great…in the heart of Oriental. Overall, our stay was a pleasant experience!”

”Beautifully decorated, comfy bed and pillows. Quiet and clean. Great spot for a romantic getaway. ”

”Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. You can tell that a lot of thought has been put into making your stay as comfortable as possible. Melissa was prompt in all communication and if there was something we needed she made it available for us so we would have less to travel with (wagon, beach toys ,etc). It’s enjoyable for both adults and children. My 2.5 year old son said that it was magical and in some ways it was. The views are great and it’s very charming. The proximity to so many...

”I stayed at one of the cottages and it was probably the most adorable night away from home I've ever had. The room was immaculate the bedding was excellent and the bathroom was amazing. My daughter and I stayed here as it was the only place near Oriental that had any space the weekend I went. A little fancier than we would normally pick but everyone was really nice. My only negative about this space was that the water was not really cold in the shower. I know that sounds like a first world...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The upstairs bathroom in this cottage needs a serious review. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oh my goodness!!! Best cottage ever!!! We felt like we were at home!!!! ”The location is excellent. The hosts answered quickly when we were unable to get in. Sadly, the downstairs unit still reeks of something like tar or asphalt. We complained about this last year and were told it would go away over time. It has not. It is bad enough to cause headaches, and maybe other issues. definitely do not stay here if you have migraine or asthma. The cheapness of ALL of the furniture and decor also make the place much less comfortable than it could be. The upstairs coffee...
