”Breakfast was good and the location was easy to get in the highway. The outlet malls are just up the highway and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Schlitterbahn was an easy 5 minute drive.”

”Good location for easy access to the I-35 corridor. Could hear the interstate noise, however, and although I had reserved a king bed room, they only had 2 queen bed rooms available. The room had a mildew smell, damp carpet and cracked sink.”

”Bed were comfortable, poop was nice , has a bar open till 10 considering hotels by it , it’s very nice”

”The room was perfectly fine. I would prefer to have soap available close to the sink - not in a container on the wall. No major problems... I thought the price was a bit high for equivalent lodging - I would stay again only if there was a 'special' -”

”The owner-operators are not attentive to their guests at all. As a guest, you are easily dismissed. They are, actually, quite rude. I realize it's an older property; however, our door didn't quite fit the frame, the toilet paper holder wasn't connected to the cabinet, and the tub controls dripped. It wasn't horrible, but it definitely wasn't worth the money for a 5-night stay either. Breakfast is basically nonexistent. The toast and jelly option was the best one.”

”Need better breakfast everyone always gives pancakes if we had better breakfast we would of stayed longer and the sun is very hotel a cover over the pool to counteract that would be great to use all day but it’s hot couldn’t get in til 6 pm and on. The room needs to be requested to have the ac on also when you get there it doesn’t feel good coming from all that heat to have to wait for your room to get cold that’s what reservations are for it meant we were coming I wanted a cold room.”

”Our first mistake was not checking the Google reviews. We booked this hotel because the Expedia reviews were decent, and the pictures made it look clean and updated. The pool looked amazing, and our kids were excited to keep swimming after park days at Schlitterbahn. Unfortunately, the pictures didn't match reality. Our first floor, non-smoking room smelled like smoke and mildew, and the door was so damaged we had to lift it just to close it. The pool was disgusting! Green water, algae...

”The owners were not friendly. They were stingy with towels. You could only get fresh towels if you brought your dirty ones to her. In my friends room the carpet was wet under the AC unit and toilet leaked all over the floor. Then we had to convince her to get a new room. Also stains on the pillows and bedding😬”
