”I love the River Inn on Harbor Island. It reminds me of an older stately hotel like the Omni Grove Park Inn and the Martha Washington Inn. However, it is quite dark and the toilets are short (as in 14-15 inches high. So please take this into consideration. The restaurants here and around the hotel are terrific. But the best part has to be the employees that work there. Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable of the area. We prefer this to the Peabody which is the only other hotel we have...

”This hotel is located right next to Beale Street. Some rooms might be noisy during night time. We had a luxury to stay room not being to the Beale Street. The parking is located in near building and the parking cost is much more lower when purchased from the hotel than from parking service provider.”

”Our first impression of the hotel was positive as Eboni in the reception was just the sweetest! When we got into the room, it was a worn out but functional. No coffee machine thou. A lot of stains on the carpets and furnitures. There seems to be a lot of personnel, but nobody (apart from the receptionist) seemed to be busy or active. Breakfast was the biggest joke - there was no coffee and only limited types of food available after 9 AM. The second morning, coffee ran out already at 8:45....

Black out curtains and a very large modern TV with great selection of channels.
