”The Inn is lovely and the staff is wonderful. The breakfasts were very filling with lots of great choices and the teatime and wine and cheese in the afternoon were lovely. The property could use some upgrading. The bathroom ceiling tiles were moldy and need to be replaced and outside of the guest room were trunks filled with cleaning supplies which should have been stowed way more discreetly. It’s an old house so the upkeep is considerable, but for the room rate, the place could use a little...

”First the not preferable : Be careful when booking. The second floor rooms (3 rooms) share one small bathroom and there’s no extra first floor bathroom. The first floor bathrooms probably have a private bath. We went through Expedia. Maybe book direct so you can ask questions. Our room came with 2 standard sized towels. When asked, they left a couple more. I’d also prefer my own hand towel instead of sharing with the entire second floor. Closets could use more hanging space. Plenty of...

”This charming inn is located right by the beach in a lovely seaside town. The owners and staff are very friendly. Our room and bathroom were clean, air-conditioned and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and farely varied. This inn as well as the whole city is very peaceful - something to take into account when planning your vacation. Also note that parking is by the streets so it might be a bit tricky to find a spot sometimes during the high season.”

”Clean, comfortable room in a great home. Perfect location for quick travel to the beaches of LBI, the Edmund Forsyth wildlife refuge, and plenty of dining/dessert options. We had a wonderful week and will be sure to stay again. For the price, I would’ve excused barebones accommodations, but The Bay Breeze house was anything but. It had everything you could ask for. Dawn is a great host, friendly and communicative. Check-in and check-out couldn’t be simpler.”

”As it turned out, my wife and I were unable to stay at the Captain's Cottage due to a severe weather front that was going through that part of New Jersey when we were scheduled to stay there. The weather was so severe that New Jersey was under a State of Emergency at the time and severe flooding was anticipated. Although we were unable to stay there, I wanted to say that the owner Bryan, was very communicative and kind during this critical time. He understood our concern and was very...
