Lomamajat – New Mexico

”For a very good price we had the basics of hot water, comfortable beds, heat and a functional kitchen. Having these basics made us able to overlook the uneven floor, dirty oven and dripping faucet. This is a very rustic cabin that was probably built in the 40s and it definitely shows the age. The front desk people were really nice.”

”We arrived into Ruidoso early so we decided to stop at the office and ask if we could check in early. The person who I spoke to had an attitude and treated me as if this had never been asked before. Had the cabin not been ready or if I had just been told no I would have been fine with that. This particular unit could use some updating, worn stained carpet, broken blinds, and huge crack in the bathroom counter. Three different mornings the smoke detector went off while we showered which we did...

”Nice secluded area that over looks a small body of water. Nice trails and walkway to the shore line. Clean kept beds and bathrooms; the property gives you privacy to enjoy the area.”

”Incredible location! Walking into town was amazing. Arrondo Seco is magic. We also LOVED the neighborhood, outdoor area and the upstairs deck. We only would only suggest an upgrade on the Murphy bed and adding an upstairs window fan. :-)”

”Stay here! The host and property are amazing! The host provided excellent directions and met us upon arrival to give us a tour of the home and property. The house is absolutely beautiful —extremely well maintained and clean. The property is gorgeous with stunning landscaping. We saw a deer within minutes of our arrival and it was so fun to watch all the hummingbirds! We met the host’s dogs who are super friendly and beyond cute! I highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.”

”Our family of five had a wonderful 2 weeks at this property! The views are stunning and the house was appointed perfectly, had plenty of room and the upstairs game room was exceptional! The location is perfect for Angel Fire, Lake Verde, Taos, Red River, Eagle’s Nest, Cimarron State Park and so much more! Great hosts! We are very sad to leave, and would love to come back for 2-3 weeks! If you are thinking about it, don’t hesitate!”

”Better than our impressions from the Vrbo ad. Great layout for large gathering . Loved the double fridges and the additional freezer. Bedding and towels were just right . The common area worked perfectly for our large group activities . Much to do in the area . Kept us busy all week . Ski lift and disc golf fun and affordable . ”

”This was basically a pit stop for us on the way to Angel Fire. Even so, this was a very nice stay. The host was friendly and helpful, and the kids were surprised and enjoyed this being a Christian camp facility. Great place for a large group. Table seated all 16 of our party. Would stop here again!”
