Windward - New Orleansin alueen rantahotelli, uima-allas

Windward sijaitsee Slidellissä New Orleansin lähiössä. Se sijaitsee 25 minuutin päässä Ranskan korttelista ja on helppo ajomatka I-10: lle. Koti on neljän makuuhuoneen koti, jossa on kaksi suurta makuuhuonetta ja kaksi pienempää makuuhuonetta. Koti on kolme täyttä kylpyammeet. On uima-allas sijaitsee vieressä laituri ja ranta. Koti on kunnostettu kokonaan vuonna 2019 ja kaikki siinä on uutta. Suunnittelijakalusteet koko ammattimaisesti suunniteltu ja toteutettu. Kauniit korostuskappaleet ja taideteos. Iso olohuone, iso TV. Uudet laitteet ja keittiötarvikkeet. Suuri kannella useita sohvia ja muhkeat tuolit. Kaunis iso tammi, joka on kannen yläpuolella ja tarjoaa loistavan alueen varjostettuihin istuimiin. Kansi on vain 15 metrin päässä vedestä. Siellä on valtava 60 jalan telakka, johon pääsee syvän veden kautta veneellä. Tuo veneesi ja lapsesi ja ui, hiihtä, kalaa ja veneitä Pontchartrain-järvellä. Järvi on 3 minuutin venematkan päässä laiturista. On suuri kansi, jossa on kahdeksan istuinta ja ylimääräiset tuolit ylivuotoa varten. Koti on 7 minuutin päässä parhaimmista kalastuksista maassa. Voit jopa kalastaa heti laiturilta pihalla. Läheisillä Rigolets-alueilla tapahtuu ilmiömäistä kalastusta uskomattomalla suolavesikalastuksella ja mahdollisuus makean veden kalastukseen 20 minuutissa veneellä.

Voit leikkiä vedessä tai veneessä koko päivän ja lyödä ranskalaisessa kaupunginosassa yöllä hauskaa ja juhlia kuin missään muualla. Voit kiinni Uberin, taksin tai ajaa. Upea kahdelle pariskunnalle tai perheelle. Olohuoneessa on vuodesohva ylivirtaukselle. Koti on hienosti varastossa keittiö kaikilla uusilla laitteilla. On kaksinkertainen uuni ja iso liesi. Kotiin kuuluu suuri työtakka ja iso ruokasali, jossa on pöytä, joka laajenee istuimeen 8. Erinomainen perheen tapaamiselle ja suurille aterioille.

Kodissa on 1 king-vuode, 2 queen-vuodetta, kaksi kerrossänkyä, 1 queen-vuodesohva. Nukkuu 8 aikuista ja 4 lasta. Tähän kotiin sallitaan korkeintaan 8 aikuista.

Fantastic Home - easy Drive to NOLA

Chosen for close proximity to New Orleans, but the Slidell Area turned out to be fantastic too! Do not overlook the restaurants here.

This is our 3rd summer of staying in the same home. Lisa is very responsive when texted. The neighborhood and accessibility to highways are great! We have a large family and we all enjoyed the variety in spaces including the fishing dock, pool and living quarters. This home is close to lots of great restaurants and local establishments. We stayed for a week, so if you have a large group and are staying longer than a few days, one recommendation would be to bring your own pool towels and expect to buy household items like toilet paper and paper towels. Overall a wonderful stay and memories with our family.

Fabulous stay!

My boyfriend and I wanted a place close to New Orleans and I also wanted a place on the water with a pool. This house fit the bill for all of that! Every part of our stay was great - the house was nice and clean and very well stocked and would be great for a larger group as well

Overall the stay was wonderful. Laundry was left in front of the washing machine, remote never worked for the main TV even after being serviced, and plugs/main light was not working in the master bedroom which made a c-pap machine difficult. You can download the Vizio remote app on your phone to work the TV if needed. I also recommend bring beach towels as there were 2 in the house. Step to the pool needs to be made more prominent/different color from deck. Had 2 people in our party fall. The actual pool could use a railing to get out easier. House was lovely though. Pool was a wonderful addition to the stay! The view is also gorgeous and some of the best beds I have ever slept on. Kitchen is also well stocked with appliances and pots/pans/dishes. If you prepare with notes from above, you will have an amazing stay! Highly recommend this location. Nice distance from New Orleans also!

Great place

Only thing we were worried about was there were no safety locks on the doors to keep our grandson from going out back, where the lake and pool were. We made our own. So if you stay, just bring a little portable lock that you can buy on Amazon. The pool was alittle cloudy. Otherwise the house was awesome, loved the neighborhood.

Fabulous girls weekend

My friends and I had a lovely stay here, great location and close to lots of great food choices and not far from French quarter. Rain didn’t let us enjoy the pool, but the back patio was very nice to hang out at.

Nice Getaway

The area is lovely with all the channels, very walkable neighborhood. The home fit our group of 10 perfectly. I would suggest bringing some beach chairs with you to use on the deck as there weren't beach chairs or additional seating to use out by the pool other than the outdoor table and chairs and the 2 loungers. Not far to drive for Sams club, Aldi and local grocery store which was convenient for grabbing food for the week. Its about 30 min drive into NOLA, and 30 minute drive the other way to wondeful beach town so the location was great! Lisa was very quick to respond to any questions or needs. All in all, nice place to stay.

Very good

Outdoor space was very relaxing. It has easy access with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor for people with limited mobility. We would have enjoyed having chairs in the bedrooms. There was an amble supply of towels. My impression is that whoever owns or manages this property, has never stayed here or monitored the housekeeping.

Wonderful place in Slidell!

My group had an amazing stay at this property. It was absolutely gorgeous and in a convenient location. I definitely would recommend staying here; it’s great for bigger groups!

Spent school vacation week at Windward with family, including 2 grandchildren. Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 children, with a pool for additional fun. Lovely setting on the canal with good proximity to New Orleans, grocery sores and Swamp Tour.

We love your place. It was both beautiful and relaxing. The neighborhood was very nice. We would definitely book again if we came back to the area. No negative comments, but with the 104 weather...an outdoor ceiling fan would be nice.

Beautiful home

It was our first time visiting Louisiana, honestly the places we wanted to visit were at about 25 minutes distance from the house. However, the home and the back deck, plus the pool gave us a well time spent there. We enjoyed the house and the person in charge was great at communicating. There were a few things missing at the house, like toilet paper and not enough garbage bags but I contacted the person in charge and within an hour she sent someone to bring us what we needed. loved the view from the master bedroom. We had a great time.

Beautiful home, great location!

Beautiful home and in a perfect location close to New Orleans and other touristy things to do. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Family enjoyed the deck and pool the entire vacation. Sn: I did contact the host prior to arrival and she was very responsive and addressed my concerns.

Stay Away!!! Not as advertised

Sent property owner… received no reply Mrs Lisa Our stay was not satisfactory. I am not sure if you visit your home but I would like to give you the following feedback. 1- Washer was connected but never fixed. Master bathroom tub cannot be used for baths due to drain not working properly. Hose doesn't work on the back patio. Pool has an excess of salt at the bottom of the pool. House water softener level is way too high because after showering or taking a bath, everyone never felt dry. 2- Floors have not been moped in a very long time. Walls are not wiped, countertops were not wiped, nothing was dusted. Your bathroom towel rugs are filthy and haven't been washed probably since you purchased them. There are stains on the drapes. If your home was renovated, it looks like it was renovated years and years ago. Your description reads newly renovated. That may need to be taken off of the description. 3- tree limbs needed to be picked up and trimmed 4- your exterminating company either needs to come or needs to be replaced with a company that will spray to kill insects/bugs. There are an infestation of roaches on your patio from the tree. There are roaches in your home and roach poop in the kitchen drawers. 5- the pool noodles left for use gave the kids rashes from flesh eating bacteria causing the kids not to go back to use the pool. The salt from the pool caused the sores to burn. The lake is not safe for swimming due to an infestation of alligators/garfish

Beautiful & quiet setting on the water

Nice & modern home right on the water. After a few days in the city, our ladies trip crossed over to Slidell and this house met all of our needs. Swamp tours are close, easy drive up the gulf to hang out on the beaches, and old towne Slidell super cute!

Perfect large home!

We loved our stay in this home. Perfect for 3 couples, a 7 year old, two 2 year olds and a baby. The flow throughout the home worked well with plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms for everyone. The kitchen worked well with multiple cooks. The deck and pool were totally enjoyable. (For the toddlers we just put their life jackets on any time they went outside. We used the dock, and fished successfully ten minutes away by boat. Fresh caught fish for dinners. Location was very convenient with easy fast grocery deliveries. Quick in to New Orleans and the airport. And lots of outdoor activities available nearby. The home was perfect for the multi-generational vacation.
