”Beautiful property in lake George. If you want convenience to be able to walk to where you want to go, this property is perfect. The hotel charm and the history surrounding the hotel was an added surprise. The views from the back patio and pool area of lake George are breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking for recommendations. We enjoyed our stay! We would definitely come back and stay again!”

”This lodge is simply stunning! Although it is not a new facility it is very well maintained. Everything was very clean, the staff is top notch, the amenities are great. Meals at the on-site restaurants were exceptional. It's too far to walk into downtown Lake Placid however they offered a shuttle. The one day the shuttle was not offered due to a marathon there was plenty of taxi opportunities. We wouldn't hesitate for a minute to stay here again.”

”Beautiful view! The outdoor fireplace facing that view is outstanding. The maintenance person, brought us over a bucket of firewood! Rooms, are very clean- and the food is great!”
