”Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again.”

”Booked here as a stopover on the way to Thoresby hall from Scotland as it was only a short drive off the motorway. We booked bed and breakfast at a very good price and we also had an evening meal. Both meals were great and the room even had an air con unit which was fantastic in the hot weather. The place was great value for money and we will certainly be back, can't thank the staff enough who were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Well done and we hope to be back soon.”

”Overall a lovely stay. Our room was large, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the front garden area. Good to have a fridge in the hot weather. We also appreciated the USB ports & other amenities. Comfortable armchairs & a comfotable bed, although the bedding was a little excessive for the hot weather - easy to remove the top layer though. The lovely bathroom was also a good size with a seperate bath & shower. Our only frustration was the early morning traffic noise - we had to open...

”The room had damp and wood chip wallpaper that was hanging down from the ceiling!! At a cost of £145 per night !! I would have been better camping on the stray We moved rooms and guess what it was just as bad . It’s now reached the end of its life and needs a complete renovation of the hotels bedrooms or reduce the room prices to around £50 a night Stay at your own risk I won’t be I don’t leave reviews but I don’t want anyone else to waste there money”

”Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.”

”Beautiful decor in the lounge and dining room. Bedroom was lovely, clean and spacious. The down side was on arrival I checked in and was told to the pay for parking at a machine. I was there for 2 days and I was charged £30. I spoke to the receptionist and she said I must have put in pm. 9.15 is am to me and that's what I put in. The receipt said 21.15 hours. Receptionist gave me a number to ring but it kept hanging up. Very disappointed with that part of my weekend away.”

”The Camberley on pieni hotelli (tai B&B) Harrogaten keskusta-alueella, mutta sijaitsee kuitenkin rauhallisen kadun varrella. Lähistöltä löytyy paljon hyviä erityyppisiä ravintoloita ja myös ostosmahdollisuuksia on naapurustossa runsaasti. Rakennus on vanha ja iän annetaan myös näkyä The Camberleyssä, mm. aamiaishuone on ihanan rustiikkinen. Sisäportaikko on hyvin kapea ja jyrkkä, joten mikäli asiakkaalla on minkäänlaisia liikkumista haittaavia vaivoja, kannattaa ehdottomasti pyytää huone...

”The bed was quite comfortable and the duvet cover very soft. I didn't expect much as it was on the cheaper side but was positively surprised. I also like how chilled they are about check in and check out. Overall I can recommend”

”Arrival was easy, nobody manning reception but was not a problem, key left on the side clearly labelled and clear instructions etc. Room clean and well presented, good amenities, including tea, coffee, fresh milk etc. Room not perfectly blackout with some streetlight coming in round the side of the curtains, and a faint green light from the fire exit sign, not something that bothers me as I sleep with my eyes closed, but some day dreamers might want a blindfold. Bed was clean, very comfortable...

”Perfect location & great staff. We were in a first floor room which is really in need of an upgrade. Wrinkled carpet over loose & very, very creaky floorboards (making going to toilet during night a noisy affair!), tatty bed bases & filthy windows. Have stayed here before in a much better room & in hindsight I think I should have asked to be moved this time. Heard every movement in the corridor because of creaky floorboards & the wall between rooms obviously got no sound insulation - could...
