”Great stay in a great pub/inn in a lovely village. Originally we were looking for somewhere near York and picked this place at random – so got lucky. Decent-sized, comfortable room, the beer 'proper' Yorkshire, and the food was excellent throughout – we could have eaten almost amything on the quite extensive menu. ”The room and the entire property was very well presented and fresh. The restaurant was also exceptional with top level table service and a great menu. Only negatives are that road facing room was a little noisy during the morning and evening rush hours and the security light in the room was quite intrusive. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stop over.”

”We arrived the tv in the room didn’t work we were told it was due to a storm but later found out it was the control box. That was it left to our own devices no sorry we were told free drinks were offered but we didn’t receive anything. At breakfast there wasn’t enough room so again left to our own devices to find seating in the cold bar. We were asked at breakfast if the room needed service or a drink we said service but got neither. All in all the staff could do better. ”

”The Accommodation is very dated, it was clean by very shabby. I managed to get the TV working but it was on an aerial and was unwatchable.”

”The room was lovely and spacious, had everything we needed was really clean and the bed was super comfortable. Our host was really helpful and easy to communicate with and the property was in such a lovely quiet area. We were close enough to the local town centre to drive over for tea and 30 mins from Harrogate for a day out. Absolutely brilliant value for money”

”A perfect venue for the conference centre and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. So much choice and really good quality. Note - we had an accessible room on the third floor. The room was great but the 03:30 fire alarm caused us some issues. Our mistake for not ticking the ‘need assistance’ box at check in.”

”Very disappointed with the volume of dogs in the property. No designated areas in restaurant and one particular dog was allowed to sit on the bench seating unchallenged by staff , very poor management intervention! All bedrooms apparently “dog friendly!” Was not a nice experience and will not be returning. Finally, where was the pool and spa facilities ? Certainly not in the hotel!”

”Room was lovely, but the mattress was obviously old as it sagged in the middle. The hotel is right on a main road so a lot of noise and music playing till very late in the evening. It’s ok for an overnight stay but wouldn’t recommend longer”

”The Camberley on pieni hotelli (tai B&B) Harrogaten keskusta-alueella, mutta sijaitsee kuitenkin rauhallisen kadun varrella. Lähistöltä löytyy paljon hyviä erityyppisiä ravintoloita ja myös ostosmahdollisuuksia on naapurustossa runsaasti. Rakennus on vanha ja iän annetaan myös näkyä The Camberleyssä, mm. aamiaishuone on ihanan rustiikkinen. Sisäportaikko on hyvin kapea ja jyrkkä, joten mikäli asiakkaalla on minkäänlaisia liikkumista haittaavia vaivoja, kannattaa ehdottomasti pyytää huone...
