The property was in the perfect spot for all the events I needed to walk to. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was exceptionally cozy. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful with directions, and having parking in a covered garage was a great bonus!

Pros-I liked how there was a kitchen stocked with all the amenities ,although we did not need it .Con’s -Bathroom was rundown , needs to be updated , shower floor was badly stained , looked dirty.Carpets smelled And was very dirty, the hallway smelled so bad from trying to mask the smell. Seems kinda of crazy to have a bar literally below sleeping rooms, . it was so loud until 2 in the morning for the 2 nights we were there . We were on the second floor , the bar was literally right below us , way too loud with ppl and music . Not happy at all about it. Wish we knew about it.Location was perfect , right in the heart of Newport .

This hotel is the perfect location to be able to walk around Newport harbor and all the shops. The parking was one of the best from our past stays at other places. Staff was friendly the room view was beautiful the 1 bedroom suite had everything we could’ve needed. The only downfall was the noise from the bar downstairs. We were unfortunately right on top of it and the the music and people were soooo loud on Saturday night. We had to keep the TVs on to drown out the noise but I could still hear every song and the people singing to it. My daughter didn’t like falling asleep with all the noise but thankfully she did. I stayed up past 1 waiting for it to end so I could turn everything off as the bedroom tv didn’t have a sleep timer that I could find. Other than that everything was great and Sunday night was much quieter but we could still hear the music and people it just wasn’t as rowdy as Saturday night.

The room was clean and just like the description. The view was amazing overlooking the harbor. There was kitchen area with everything you need to cook meal and eat. the staff was great and took care of all issue to include when parking lot was full. The building is in the busiest area and very busy on the road. Parking is tight but the location is great. There was one thing that isn't part of the hotel. There is a bar downstairs on the first floor and if you are above it it can be loud. Highly recommended.

Great staff, very comfortable room

Ideal location if you want to be downtown. Parking is a little sketchy and there is a bar below the hotel but the staff is great, rooms are large and the rooftop patio is amazing

Some needed solitude

Great place to relax & unwind. Harbor view gives beautiful sunset skies. Living room kitchen, dining area & bedroom makes you feel just like home. I’ll definitely be going back.

My partner and I had the most amazing time for our one year anniversary at this property. It was beautifully kept and so easy to check in. So close to town, all the sight seeing that we wanted to do was walkable! Not to mention the view from our room was amazing!! Thank you for an amazing week!

Okay Room

The room is as advertised, a one bedroom with a separate living room and pullout couch. However, the room is above a bar, and it is loud until 2a. Very loud. Also, the WiFi does not work. Last, the front desk is almost impossible to find without someone helping you.

Spring wedding

I booked a two night stay in early April for a wedding that was spread out over 3 days at various locations. I chose Wyndham for its location close to everything and the price. Check in was easy, parking is limited but very close to all rooms. Very nice foyer with treats, coffee, water, etc. The room was awesome, nice view of the water. Big bedroom with a comfy bed, plenty of closet space, full kitchen and seating area with two TV's. I would absolutely stay here again for multiple days. The only negative was that they were doing very noisy maintenance (power drills, hammers, etc.) inside the hotel at 8 am. I get that it's the offseason, but you have to give people a heads up and also not start until 10. Many people are sleeping late in Newport. Some things to note, not judging just noting....The harbor is pretty noisy with boat traffic and dock work, etc. There was a boat with a bullhorn on both mornings I was there. At night, there were groups of loud, drunk guys hanging out in the parking lot and at the bar below our room. You just have to be prepared to deal with the noise. I suggest a substantial sound machine and some ear plugs. Lastly, the bedroom is against the hallway and you can hear the elevator and doors shutting. Not a problem with the previously mentioned items. Overall, I'm really glad I stayed here and would absolutely stay here in the offseason again. I wouldn't be able to afford in the summer. I was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable the place was.
