”One night stay. Very friendly staff. Lovely village location with nice view of the Wye valley hillsides. Very reasonable pub standard evening meal, breakfast was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable with all the bits you would expect, kettle with tea and coffee, a nice bottle of sparkling water, TV, good quality soap and shower gel etc. Great value for a very reasonable price. Add in that they served a well kept pint of Tribute Ale.”

”Lovely clean rooms set in a lovely hotel with beautiful surroundings. Carpark had plenty of space. The pub/restaurant was fantastic. One of the best steaks I’ve had.
I was impressed by the wine list as it had plenty of choice of fantastic wines.
Only downside was they stopped serving drinks at 10pm. Much too early to shut shop after you’ve been in the restaurant all evening.
Other than that, we were satisfied.”

”This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience.
I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away.
My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

”I had a great stay at this hotel for the night.
Very clean, comfortable beds. Clean shower. Could connect to the TV to watch the likes of YouTube or watch normal channels. Room service, although I didn't use this. A lovely restaurant with lovely food..and the staff were fantastic. Even checked me in an hour early.

”We have stayed here before several times but this time was really disappointing. We booked an accessible room but on arrival we were told this wasn't available and we were on the first floor. It was fortunate my operation for a knee replacement was postponed or I wouldn't have managed the stairs (no lift). The first floor room was stifling as it was during the ongoing heatwave. No fan provided.
We went straight to get a cold drink (having driven 200 miles we were parched). Ordered the drinks...
