The guest in the neighbouring room was being rather noisy and I knew that it would disturb my sleep, so I approached reception and they were kind enough to offer an alternative, quiet room in which I slept well... :-) I was also very impressed with the breakfast. I chose the cooked option and it set me up for the day... I would highly recommend this hotel and would choose to stay here again if I'm visiting Newry.”

”This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water.”

Olivia is a wonderful host - she sent detailed instructions for the check in process, left a lovely welcome hamper for our arrival, was flexible with our needs on check out day and kindly mailed an item we left behind to us after our stay! The cottage is superb - great location, charming, cosy, spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back soon. Thank you Olivia!”

”Very central location. Lovely end of terrace house. Hosts/owners very friendly, letting us in and sorting out heating. Big kitchen/diner. Kitted out for 4, could have a bit more equipment. Nice touches such as snacks, sugar, tea and coffee. Beds were good quality. Rooms are of a good size 2 doubles and 2 sinlges. 2 showers/bathrooms, one is downstairs. Storage in bedrooms could have a few more hangers. No tv in lounge, which would have been nice. Tiny tv in 'boot/coat room' not sure it...
